Gidara Bugyal Trek - 06 Days

Point Of Interest
While Dayara Bugyal is one of the easiest and popular trekking destination in Uttarakhand, most people don’t know that there is another gem hidden 14 km beyond Dayara Bugyal, the scenic Gidara Bugyal. You can reach this lush green high altitude meadow by trekking on a gradually ascending but easy trail. The combination of Dayara Bugyal with Gidara Bugyal showcases the best of widespread alpine meadows. Surya Top, situated at a height of 3950m offers great view of the upper Himalayan peaks such as Bandarpoonch (6350m), Dropdi Ka Danda (6420m), Srikanth. The trek also offers an opportunity to experience firsthand the life style of the people of the village of Barsu and Raithal. Ali Bugyal & Bedni Bugyal are the famous combo meadows mostly frequented by trekkers approaching Roopkund Trek, but Dayara Bugyal & Gidara Bugyal will arguably put on a better show. If you have a knowledge and fondness for birds and/or wild flowers then this trip with its rich variety of Monal pheasant, eagles, butterflies etc is an idle trip for you.
