Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 ARRIVAL AT COCHIN AIRPORT

Our agent will welcome you at Cochin airport and accompany you to the hotel. Unwind in the evening and feel at ease in this charming 'port city. 'Retire to the motel for the night.

Day 2 Cochin City Tour

Proceed for sightseeing in Cochin. Your tour here includes attractions like Fort Cochin, still preserving its historic Jewish history; Santa Cruz Basilica; Mattancherry Palace; St Francis Church; and more. The must-sees are the Jew’s street and the Chinese fishing nets at Fort Cochin beach. hotel. Overnight.

Day 3 Cochin – Munnar (4 hrs)

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel, and drive to Munnar. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Leisure day. Overnight in a motel.

Day 4 Munnar

Local Sightseeing. Savour the local sightseeing for the day. Munnar is 1600 metres above sea level. It is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams—Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundale. Munnar was the summer retreat of the British Government in South India. Munnar local sightseeing includes visits to Mattuppetty Dam, Kundale Lake, and Echo Point. Afternoon: head to Rajamalai, where the rarest species of mountain goat, the "Nilgiri Thars", can be sighted. Got a stay arranged at Munnar.

Day 5 Munnar – Thekkady (4 hrs)

After breakfast, proceed to Periyar—a very picturesque resort—very good for relaxation. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the hotel. In the evening, relax and rejuvenate with a boat safari on the picturesque Periyar Lake at an additional cost, and occasionally catch a glimpse of some rare kinds of birds and animals of Periyar National Park. Breakfast at the hotel. Overnight at a hotel.

Day 6 Thekkady – Alleppey (5 hrs) (Houseboat)

Post a wonderful breakfast, check out from the hotel, and go to Alleppey. Experience a magical overnight backwater tour aboard traditional houseboats. Crossing the floating luxury villas, let your eyes have a rest on the strange and the unusual—skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed-down paddy fields, and local inhabitants busy in creating coir goods, rustic cottages, and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. Day 7 Alleppey – Kovalam (3 hrs)

Houseboat check-out after breakfast and drive to Kovalam. Arrive at Kovalam and check in at the hotel. Leisure day. Kovalam beaches are enjoyed in the evening. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 8 Kovalam/Trivandrum/Kovalam

The day started with Trivandrum Sightseeing. Your agenda will include areas of interest like the Padmanabhaswami temple. Padmanabhaswami temple is famous for its towering gopuras and temple arts and paintings. The main pavilion of the temple is remarkable with 400 marvellously carved granite pillars. You also get to view the other attractions on a guided sightseeing tour. Later in the evening, return to Kovalam for an overnight stay.

Day 9 Kovalam – Trivandrum (45 min) = Departure Transfer

Morning drop at Trivandrum airport for your departure return home. Happy about the fantastic time you spent in the “God’s Own Country."
